High hopes Limerick Clean up will help change attitudes

Councillors hope a major community-based clean up of Limerick in April will shame those continuing to litter into stopping. More than 5,000 people have signed up to take part in the first ever Team Limerick Clean-Up across the city and county on Good Friday. Thousands of euro is spent by the local authority every year in cleaning up after people who refuse to dispose of their litter properly.
